History:
The Sandra Day O'Connor Japanese Club was founded in 2003 to spread the Otaku culture to the students of O'Connor. However, all attempts to start an anime convention were shot down. J-Club stayed language-based.
However, in 2004, the group managed to secure the Ag. Multi-Purpose building and held O-Conn 0: no guests, one vendor, and a cosplay contest. Despite it's small success, O-Conn would not come back until 2006, guest-starring Michael McConnohie and Anime Fun TV. 2007 would bring the cast of the Internet show The Codex, 2008 with Samantha Inoue-Harte and Josh Grelle, and 2009 with the return of Josh Grelle and Eric Fonseca.
2010 was a difficult year with a sudden school board intervention, but O-Conn went on, guest starring the J-Rock band Rising Sun.
